The Weekend Edition #86

Happy Sunday! Have you had a good week? It seems to have gone really slowly here, but that’s because I am waiting on two things; the fact that we are this close to having all of the building work done. In fact, it might even be done by the end of today! Second, I have one more week at work until I’m on holiday and I cannot wait.

 

I do feel like I’ve given myself the excuse to spend more, even in excess, whilst having all of this building work done so I also feel like once this is over and everything is back to normal, then my spending habits will fall in line too. Is that stupid? It certainly feels that way. We shall see.

 

Expenses wise, we are trying to spend less and get back to having lots of NSDs during the week. This week hasn’t been great as we have had a lot of things on, including a nursery trip to the seaside. We won the sandcastle competition 🙂  But, the budget so far is fine and I’ve been updating my budget planner to reflect the spending I’m doing.  In fact, I’ll be uploading a new weekly budget update to YouTube later on this morning so don’t forget to check it out and subscribe!
