For me, the thing that has helped me the most with saving my money is changing my mindset about saving. I used to view it as deprivation and as something that kept me from spending the way that I wanted to, which made me very unmotivated to do it. More recently, I’ve started to view my savings as the key to having freedom and time in the future, which is far more motivating.
