It seems like it’s been a while since I did an Life Update post. In fact, life has been a little crazy round here lately so I thought I’d do a quick update.
Firstly, we’re over half way through our extension work now, which is great. It seems to be taking shape and now they have the windows in it looks like a proper extension to our house 🙂 there’s still a lot of work to do, mainly downstairs in the kitchen/family room. The kitchen we’ve ordered should arrive within the next three weeks or so, so the plan is to be able to just have it fitted as soon as it arrives, providing everything else is complete. The dust is an absolute pain though; it gets everywhere! It’ll be worth it though 🙂 I will share some pictures of the kitchen once it’s finished.
I am still continuing to enjoy filming for YouTube and it is definitely keeping me more on track because I know I’m accountable as I’m sharing it each week. One thing I am looking at is getting a better filming set up sorted though, as at the moment I am just holding my phone and filming, and it shows. I will persevere though 🙂 once our kitchen is done I intend to do grocery shopping hauls and meal planning to show how we keep our food bill so low.
I also braved showing my face over on Instagram! I am not the most confident of people but everyone was so kind 🙂 I want to make my little area of the internet more personal but I am anxious about who might find my space. I suppose I will have to get used to that!
Finally, I have been looking at getting my budget planner made into a physical product that would arrive in the post, as well as having the printable version. I have had a few messages from people who can’t download it as they don’t have any access to a printer, which I understand! So I have been in contact with some local printing companies to see how much it would cost. Would you be interested in that?
